Information of Accommodation Tax in Nagano Prefecture (Effective June 2026)

Effective for stays on or after June 1, 2026, a separate Nagano Prefecture accommodation tax will be charged based on the accommodation fee.

【Stay Dates: June 1, 2026 - May 31, 2029】
Per person per night: Accommodation fee of ¥6,000 or more: Accommodation Tax ¥200

【Stay Dates: June 1, 2029 Onwards】
Per person per night: Accommodation fee of ¥6,000 or more: Accommodation Tax ¥300

※All guests paying for accommodation are subject to this tax, regardless of age.
※Accommodation fee refers to the room-only rate, excluding charges for dinner, breakfast, bar/restaurant meals, parking, and consumption tax.
